My Story
Olwen Strello
INDEPENDENT INTERIOR DESIGNER
The heart of what I do is creating timeless and inviting spaces. The aim of the business is to be accessible to all. Inspiring individuals to achieve the most out of their homes
To achieve this goal, I scour the internet and local artisans for fabric, paint, wallpaper and furniture to deliver a truly original design.
Not only driven by passion, but I’m also qualified as an Interior Designer after completing a diploma with the British Academy of Interior Design, London in 2019.
For the past 28 years I’ve practiced my interior design skills in renovating numerous properties.
Our current 200 year old Welsh Farmhouse required a great deal of vision and reconfiguration.
The house was dark and gloomy, with a galley kitchen. This transformation was the catalyst for my passion for Interior Design.
In 2003 a double storey extension was added to include a kitchen, dining and garden room.
We problem solved this property to provide the best of both worlds – the old stone house is cool in summer, and the kitchen. dining and garden room is warm and light in Winter.
The b.a.i.d interior design course gave me more insight into focusing my creative ideas and presentation skills, and knowledge of historical architecture of this country. I relish the opportunity of conjuring up ideas for the best combination of colours, textures, and furniture to fulfill a project.
